Music Digitization Project
Parishes from our diocese, as well as OCA and Byzantine Catholic Churches, have beautiful recordings from choirs, preserved on vinyl records and cassette tapes. They include Marian and paraliturgical hymns, Koljady (Christmas carols), and selections from Divine Liturgy and other services. We collected donations of dozens of recordings mailed to us from personal collections.
Below, you can find the albums we restored and digitized that are available on online streaming platforms. Restoring these records allows for preservation and widespread accessibility of these glorious works.
Please contact Maria Korchak at acrodrusyn@gmail.com if you have Carpatho-Rusyn Prostopinije/Plain Chant or parish choral recordings that you would like to digitize and upload onto music streaming platforms to allow for widespread digitization.
We thank the following people who have donated recordings from their personal collections.
Fr. Michal Bucko (BCC)
Fr. Ed Cimbala (BCC)
Fr. Nathaniel Choma
Fr Jack Custer (BCC)
