2014 Central Regional Lenten Retreat Draws Large Crowd

Deadline Approaching for John C. Kulis Charitable Foundation Scholarships

JOHNSTOWN, PA -- The Diocesan Chancery wishes to remind Diocesan students that the May 1, 2014 deadline for the Kulis Foundation Scholarships is approaching. The Kulis Foundation will be awarding a total of twenty (20) scholarships totaling $100,000.00, for the 2014-2015 school-year. The scholarships will be awarded to ten (10) undergraduate and ten (10) graduate recipients with each scholarship amounting to $5,000.00. The deadline to submit application materials is May 1, 2014. ACRY Ambassador Begins Real Break Romania Journey

JOHNSTOWN [National ACRY] -- Thanks to the generosity of the members of the ACRY, the faithful of the Diocese and the Kulis Foundation, Nate Choma, the ACRY Ambassador, and College Student at Kent State University begins his OCF sponsored Real Break Journey to Romania, today. Nate is part of student team that is travelling to Valea Plopului, a remote village about 70 miles north of Bucharest, Romania. This community takes care of about 220 orphans, handicapped children and children from families with financial hardships. Read more...
