JOHNSTOWN, PA -- [Diocesan Chancery] - For the first time in the history of the Summer Camping Sessions at Camp Nazareth, our Diocesan youth will be blessed to witness the ordination of two young men tomorrow, July 18, 2014 at the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at Sts Cyril and Methodios Church. During the Liturgy, Seminary Graduate Matthew Dutko, of St. Michael's Church in Binghamton, NY will be ordained to the orders of Reader, Sub-deacon and Deacon and Deacon Joseph Birthisel, of Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Johnstown will be ordained to the Holy Priesthood. NATIONAL ACRY -- The Phoenixville, PA ACRY Chapter is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2014 ACRY Convention/Get-Away-Weekend which will take place on Labor Day Weekend, August 29-September 2014 in King of Prussia, PA. The chapter has been working hard to provide a great Convention this year. ACRY members and all members of the Diocese are welcome to take part. The City of Philadelphia, with its many attractions such as the Philadelphia Art Museum, Philadelphia Zoo (America’s 1st zoo!), Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, is a 30 minute drive from the hotel.
