Johnstown , PA  [Diocesan Chancery] -- The New Jersey Deanery Clergy hosted a workshop at St. the Baptist Church in Rahway on Saturday, June 6, in preparation for the Apostles Fast.  The Christian Life in Action Workshop is part of a broader plan by the NJ Deanery to host workshops during the four great fasting periods of the church year.  Using the Apostles Fast as the background, this workshop focused on the ministries of the laity.

On May 15-17, 2026, thirty-one men discerning to serve the American Carpatho- Russian Orthodox Diocese of North America journeyed to Christ the Saviour Seminary in Johnstown, PA, for a Vocations Retreat. The retreat was a first-of-its-kind, and was designed to have them “come and see” what it’s like to be a seminarian.

JOHNSTOWN, PA -- [Diocesan Chancery]   Diocesan faithful and friends are asked to support  special Diocesan-Wide outreach project being spearheaded by the National Sr. ACRY for the Zoe for Life Orthodox Christian Ministry to unwed mothers in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

In conjunction with the Diocesan Family and Friends Weekend in Cleveland over the Memorial Day Weekend, a fundraising Baby Shower will be held to benefit Zoe for Life.  A representative from the organization will also be joining those present to speak after Sunday Liturgy. ACRY chapters and parishes are invited to participate in this fundraiser. There is an Amazon wishlist created so that those interested in participating can easiy purchase items of need for the Zoe House.
