Archpastoral Visit to Chicago (5/12/19)
On Sunday May 12th, His Eminence Metropolitan Gregory visited Saint George Belarusian Orthodox Church of Chicago to participate in the Feast Day of Saint George. His Eminence presided over the celebratory Divine Liturgy and later was the honorary guest at luncheon hosted in the parish hall.
Very Reverend Samuel Sherry from Saint Michael Church in Niles, Illinois joined His Eminence during the visit to Saint George Parish in Chicago.
Father Michael Pasieka, the church board and all parish members of Saint George Belarusian Orthodox Church of Chicago were humbled and joyous that His Eminence Metropolitan Gregory could join them during this special day in the life of the parish.
