2016 Young Women's Encounter Day 2 June 27, 2016

A Monday full of activities at the Young Women's Encounter.
Sharing snacks and fellowship after lights out around the tables in the kitchen.

These young women are excited to be establishing themselves as Orthodox Christians. We are eternally grateful for the support of their priests and their parishes.

During the confessions, young women recited an Akathist for Saints Mary and Martha, sisters of Lazarus.

The Young women learn about the seal of the Prosfora and what each symbol means.
Each participating young woman will bring a loaf of Prosfora home to offer for liturgy.

Vasiliki Tsigas-Fotinis speaks on Mary and the contemplative life. We are practicing how to start each day per Abbot Tryphon's suggestion - by pushing up our cheeks and smiling.
