MERCER, PA – The National Jr. ACRY will once again be hosting its Weekend Encounter at Camp Nazareth over Veteran’s Day Weekend. The event will be held from November 8 – 10, 2013, and is open to youth ages 8 – 18. Attendees do not have to be a member of the Jr. ACRY to attend. OTTAWA, CANADA -- His Grace, Bishop Gregory began, this weekend, his first Archpastoral Visitation to Canada. His Grace, Bishop Gregory was greeted upon his arrival by Very Rev. Protopresbyter Maxym Lysack, the Dean of the Canadian Deanery, and pastor of Christ the Saviour Church in Ottawa. Bishop Gregory led the weekend celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Christ the Saviour Parish community where he presided over Saturday Evening Vespers and the Sunday Hierarchical Liturgy. Over the course of the weekend the parish faithful, parish ministry leadership and the youth were given the opportunity to meet with Bishop Gregory. Read more...
