Bishop Gregory To Attend Second International Conference on Religious Freedom

JOHNSTOWN, PA -- At the invitation of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, His Grace, Bishop Gregory of Nyssa will attend the Archon Second International Conference on Religious Freedom: "Tearing Down Walls: Achieving Religious Equality in Turkey." It will take place in Berlin, Germany on December 4-5, 2013. This upcoming conference promises to be an extraordinary, historic and watershed event, just as the first Archon International Conference on Religious Freedom was in November 2010 at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium. Bishop Gregory Presides Over Planting of Cross and Ground Breaking for a New Church in Lafayette, IN.

LAFAYETTE, IN -- On Sunday, October 13th, His Grace Bishop Gregory presided at the planting of the Cross and a ground breaking for a new church in Lafayette, Indiana. St. Alexis parish has been in its present retro-fit building for about 14 years, and the congregation are preparing to build on donated land just outside West Lafayette. His Grace also attended a dinner, provided by parishioners, following the blessing. The faithful were blessed with a gorgeous day for this important event, and are most grateful to His Grace for including them during his three-day pastoral visit to Indiana. Read more...
