14 People Embrace Orthodoxy in Rockford, IL!

ROCKFORD,  IL --  [Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church]  On Lazarus Saturday,  April 4, 2026, 14 newly baptized / christmated people were received into the Orthodox Church after reverently and prayerfully preparing themselves.  

What a blessing it is to encounter their journey of faith and the honesty of their intention: to cultivate the depth and walk the Path, where He leads us with love and Humility.

Many years and blessed cultivation of the heart to all of them and  their proud Godparents who have helped them along their Journey.

Two more baptisms  took place on Holy Saturdayand over 15 more people are exploring the Faith and preparing.
