Jr. A.C.R.Y. Hosts Lenten Spring Encounter at Camp Nazareth, March 20–22, 2026 Theme: Return to the Lord: Come Home to Christ this Lent!

MERCER, PA - [Diocesan Chancery] — The National Jr. A.C.R.Y. (American Carpatho-Russian Youth) will host its annual Lenten Spring Encounter at Camp Nazareth from Friday, March 20 through Sunday, March 22, 2026, inviting all youth ages 8–18 for a weekend of faith, fellowship, spiritual growth, and all the joys of spending the first days of Spring at beautiful Camp Nazareth!
Centered on the theme “Return to the Lord: Come Home to Christ this Lent!”, the weekend encourages young people to experience Great Lent not simply as a season of “doing more,” but as a joyful return to God like that of the Prodigal Son.
The Encounter will include age-appropriate sessions, classic camp activities, and time for building friendships in a positive, supportive, and Christ centered environment. Camp Nazareth, our “piece of paradise” is nestled in the hills of western Pennsylvania and provides the perfect setting for our youth to step away from distractions, deepen their relationship with Christ, make lifelong friendships, and strengthen their connection to the Church.
The theme draws from the prophet Joel’s call to repentance and hope: “Yet even now… return to Me with all your heart… for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love” (Joel 2:12–13).
