Eternal Memory: Joseph Loposky

JOHNSTOWN, PA - The Chancery has learned that +JOSEPH LOPOSKY, the father of  Very Rev. Fr.  Stephen Loposky, fell asleep in the Lord, yesterday,  August 3, 2015 after a long illness.  He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Endicott, NY. 

Mr. Loposky was predeceased by his wife, Joanne (Wesko) Loposky; parents, Carl and Millie Loposky; brother, Carl Laposky; sister, Celia Osgood; granddaughter, Kathryn Loposky; son-in-law, Ken Chou; in-laws, John and Anna Wesko. He is survived by five children, Michele Chou and her husband, Randy Johnson, Joseph (Ana) Loposky, John (Patricia) Loposky, Mark (Sonia) Loposky, Very Reverend Stephen (Daria) Loposky; grandchildren, Alexandra (Curt) Meier, Kenny, Arianna, Phillip, Jessica, Luke, Jasmani, Jasmine, Samuel, Joshua, Nicholas, Anna, Kalisi, Cassie, Ericca, Julie, Mary, Grant and Calvin; his sister-in-law, Betty Laposky; his nephew, Carl Laposky; his brother-in-law, Michael (Ann) Wesko. He was a retired sales representative for New York Life with over 40 years of service, an avid and champion golfer, who won five Broome County Amateur Championships, multiple club championships at both En-Joie Golf Course and Binghamton Country Club and was the low amateur in the first BC Open.

The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home at 1905 Watson Blvd in Endicott on Wednesday from 4-7 PM, with Parastas at 7 PM.  Funeral Service is on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Mary's Church.
