Eternal Memory: Reader Andrew Talarovich, Jr.
JOHNSTOWN, PA -- [Diocesan Chancery] The Diocesan Chancery has been informed that Reader Andrew Talarovich, Jr. of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Homestead, PA, reposed in the Lord suddenly on Saturday, June 27, 2015.
Andrew, age 52, was the son of the late Andrew Sr. and Katherine (Rethi) Talarovich; brother of Michael Joseph (Rachel) Talarovich of Pittsburgh, PA and Kathryn (James) Brackin of Indiana, PA; uncle of Heather (Brent) Blose; great uncle of Aiden Hill; also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. Andrew was a former cantor at SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Homer City, and was the present cantor and choir director at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Homestead. He has been singing in various churches of American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese for over 40 years and he was approaching his 25th year at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
Family and friends will be received at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, 500 Ben Franklin South, Indiana, PA 15701 on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM followed by a visitation at the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 on Wednesday 2-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A Divine Liturgy will be Thursday, 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church 903 Ann Street Homestead, PA 15120.
