Funeral of Metropolitan Nicholas: Sunday March 20, 2011
Today, the body of Metropolitan Nicholas lay in state during Divine LIturgy at his home parish of St. John the Baptist in Perth Amboy, NJ. Visitation in the Church by hundreds of diocesan faithful and guests continued throughout the day until 7:00 pm when a Parastas was celebrated by Archbishop Anthony of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA and assisted by His Grace Bishop Daniel also of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA, Bishop Nikolai of the Orthodox Church in America and Diocesan Consistory Clergy.
