On Sunday February 12, 2017, long-time altarserver of Christ The Saviour Cathedral was Tonsured as Reader of the Church by His Grace, Bishop Gregory of Nyssa.
The Tonsure took place prior to the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Three Holy Hierarchs. During the Liturgy, Deacon George Ellis was ordained to the Holy Priesthood.
