Diocese To Participate In Youth Workers Conference

JOHNSTOWN, PA --  With the Blessing of His Grace, Bishop Gregory, representatives from the Diocese will attend the 11th Annual Orthodox Christian Camp & Youth Worker Conference being held in Austin Texas, January 24 - 26. The Conference provides an arena for Orthodox youth workers from different jurisdictions to share and provide resources on Youth Ministry.

The conference will include keynote and guest speakers, educational presentations, break out sessions and fellowship. All Orthodox parish and diocese youth workers, camp directors and staff, and OCF chaplains will attend. Very Reverend Fr. Stephen Loposky will be in attendance to share in the Camp tracks and Youth Worker tracks of the conference as both the Administrator of Camp Nazareth and the Diocesan Director of Youth. Very Reverend Fr. Miles Zdinak will attend the Youth workers tracks of the conference as the Spiritual Advisor of the National Junior ACRY and as a member of the Diocesan Apostolate for Youth or DAY Ministry. Rachel Pribish, Vice President of the National ACRY will also be attending the conference sharing in the Youth Workers tracks as the Senior Advisor to the National Junior ACRY.

The participants will also share what each has gleaned from the conference to further aid in the ongoing ministry to youth in our diocese.
