JOHNSTOWN, PA -- [Diocesan Chancery] With the blessing of His Grace, Bishop Gregory of Nyssa, the 7:45 am Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on Monday October 21, 2013 at Christ the Saviour Cathedral, which will inaugurate the XXII Diocesan Council-Sobor, will be live streamed on the internet.
His Grace, Bishop Gregory will be the main celebrant and will be assisted by the members of the Diocesan Consistory. During the Liturgy, Subdeacon William George, a 2013 graduate of Christ the Saviour Seminary, will be ordained to the Holy Diaconate. Read more...

LAFAYETTE, IN -- On Sunday, October 13th, His Grace Bishop Gregory presided at the planting of the Cross and a ground breaking for a new church in Lafayette, Indiana. St. Alexis parish has been in its present retro-fit building for about 14 years, and the congregation are preparing to build on donated land just outside West Lafayette. His Grace also attended a dinner, provided by parishioners, following the blessing. The faithful were blessed with a gorgeous day for this important event, and are most grateful to His Grace for including them during his three-day pastoral visit to Indiana.

MERCER, PA – The National Jr. ACRY will once again be hosting its Weekend Encounter at Camp Nazareth over Veteran’s Day Weekend. The event will be held from November 8 – 10, 2013, and is open to youth ages 8 – 18. Attendees do not have to be a member of the Jr. ACRY to attend.
The weekend’s activities will include time for prayer, recreating, spiritual learning, sports, and more. Read more...
