Orthodox Scripture Study: The Book of Acts (Main Page)
Study of the Book of Acts (or Acts of The Holy Apostles). The Book of Acts is read and discussed within the context of the patristic mindset of the Church. Emphasis is placed on both the Book's historical context and application to contemporary life. The study is led by the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Kenneth Bachofsky, D. Min. Pastor of St. Nicholas Church and Professor of Sacred Scripture at Christ the Saviour Orthodox Theological Seminary.
The weekly class takes place in "Real Time" and is broadcast live from St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Warren, Ohio on Saturday evenings at 5:00 pm, beginning October 8, 2016, with short recesses to be announced during Nativity and Holy Week/Paschal Seasons.
Classes are also recorded in audio and video formats for later review.
