The mission of the Diocesan Apostolate For Parish Growth, Mission and Evangelization is to fulfill the Great Commission of Our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ as recorded in the Gospel of Saint Matthew:

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:16-20)

The Diocesan Apostolate for Parish Growth, Mission and Evangelization, oversees the domestic and international missionary outreach of the American Carpatho-Russian Diocese. It also promotes and supports Orthodox Missionary work throughout the world.  It labors in close cooperation with the Diocesan Building Commission, and  The Orthodox Mission Center (OCMC) and the International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) which are official agencies of the Standing Conference of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas (SCOBA).
