PILGRIM'S CAMP

Commentary

In Conjunction with the Solemn Consecration of Saints Cyril and Methodios Orthodox Church at the Direction of His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas, A Pilgrim's Camp Was Established on Friday Evening, August 15, 2003 on the Camp Nazareth Baseball Field. In Keeping with the Tradition of Carpatho-Rusyn Homelands and Other Orthodox Countries at Such Solemn Occasions Nearly 65 Youth and Their Families from Throughout the Diocese and Other Orthodox Parishes Participated in This Campout. The Evening's Events Included a Camp Fire With The Singing of Para-Liturgical Hymns and a Candlelight Compline Service Followed by Confessions.
