Diocesan Calendar Available for Sale
The iconography, environment, and spirit of an Orthodox church is radiant. Unfortunately, it is not often that one gets the chance to experience the wonder of the other churches in our diocese. In order to raise funds to offset the cost of hosting the 2011 National Convention, Homestead Ch. #11 has embarked upon a project that showcases the beauty of our Orthodox churches. We hope to introduce people inside and outside the diocese to our churches through the production of calendars showcasing twelve different parishes.
The details are as follows: we have printed beautiful, full-color, twelve month calendars which feature a different church for each month. The calendars are 11 x 17 inches and have customized dates for Julian/old calendar AND Gregorian/new calendar holidays. In this way, our churches have a chance to shine in the homes of parishioners and non-parishioners alike.
