The Center has been busy with improvement projects. Three bids were received to complete painting and replacement of the trim around the outside of the building. Inside painting of the area around the back entrance is being planned. Curtains for the windows will be ordered. The biggest improvement is new soft-padded elegant chairs which have been ordered. Congratulations to all our students who will make their 1st confession on Saturday, May 19th and receive Communion as a group on Sunday, May 20th. A group photo will follow, together with a breakfast at the Educational Center after Liturgy. It is hard to believe that it is already one year since our Metropolitan left us on March 13, 2011 for his new permanent home in one of the many mansions Jesus promised to all those who love Him and follow His commandments. The afternoon of his passing is as fresh in our minds as though it just happened today, and not one year ago. It is difficult to grasp where that one year has gone. Read more...
