Cathedral Life
Welcome to Christ the Saviour Cathedral, the Cathedral Parish of
The American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of the USA (Ecumenical
Patriarchate of Constantinople) which is shepherded by His Eminence, Most Reverend
Metropolitan Nicholas.
Located in the Connemaugh Valley of Western Pennsylvania within the
City of Johnstown, we are a vibrant community of Orthodox Christians
committed to proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel in our corner of
the vineyard of our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Our website offers a glimpse into the life of our cathedral
community through our posted materials, live and on-demand videos of
divine services, photo galleries and multi-media resources. It also
provides information about Orthodox Christianity both for those who
wish to know more about their own faith and those non-Orthodox
interested in Orthodox Christianity. If you have any questions, please
contact the Cathedral Office, we will be happy to assist you.
The Parish is administered by the Cathedral Clergy who include His
Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas; Protopresbyter Frank P. Miloro, Dean; Protodeacon
Deacon Oleg Aminov and Deacon Gaius Grohm. Very Rev. John A.
Baranik Jr., Very Rev. James A. Gleason and Rev. Dr. Nicholas Ferencz are
attached to the Cathedral.

generous to the Parish in special projects and programs.
There are 503 members in the parish. Mr. Michael J. Fetsko is the chief financial
officer. He serves with seven other
officers and 23 curators. A cemetery committee comprised of Father Miloro,
David Dudak and John Zizan, manages the parish cemetery. Cemetery caretaker who takes great pride in
the Cathedral Cemetery is John Yarina. Over the years, the following have labored
with the Pastor as the Rectory secretaries:

Hilboky. Presently Mrs. Claire Nash
assists Father Miloro with secretarial duties.
