Welcome to Christ the Saviour Cathedral, the Cathedral Parish of The American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of the USA (Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople) which is shepherded by His Grace, Bishop Gregory of Nyssa.
Located in the Connemaugh Valley of Western Pennsylvania within the City of Johnstown, we are a vibrant community of Orthodox Christians committed to proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel in our corner of the vineyard of our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Our website offers a glimpse into the life of our cathedral community through our posted materials, live and on-demand videos of divine services, photo galleries and multi-media resources. It also provides information about Orthodox Christianity both for those who wish to know more about their own faith and those non-Orthodox interested in Orthodox Christianity. If you have any questions, please contact the Cathedral Office, we will be happy to assist you.
The Parish is administered by the Cathedral Clergy who include His Grace, Bishop Gregory of Nyssa; Protopresbyter Frank P. Miloro, Dean; and Protodeacon Deacon Oleg Aminov. Very Rev. John A. Baranik Jr., Very Rev. John Brancho and Very Rev. James A. Gleason are attached to the Cathedral.
