INDIANA, PA [OCF] Father Matthew Conjelko, the Spiritual Advisor of the IUP Orthodox Christian Fellowship, visited IUP’s campus to offer dorm/apartment blessings for participating OCF members. As a graduating senior, I greatly appreciated this treat. The students learned about the reasons we have our homes blessed. On Sunday December 2, 2012 The Pittsburgh Deanery hosted its annual St. Nicholas Charity Dinner for the benefit of our Christ the Saviour Seminary. It was held at Banquets Unlimited in Wilmerding, PA. There were nearly 100 in attendance. The evening's program included a traditional Rusyn Bethlehem Play, the Jaslickari (visitors to the manger) performed by our seminarians from Christ the Saviour Seminary. It was a special honor to have His Grace Bishop Gregory in attendance who delivered an inspirational message for the season. The evening's festivities gave His Grace the opportunity to informally meet and greet many of the faithful from the Pittsburgh Deanery Churches. Read more...
