Still Time to Register For Diocesan Lenten Retreats!
JOHNSTOWN, PA [National ACRY] Do you want to make the most out of the Holy Season of Great Lent? Do you need encouragement in following the Way of the Cross, as you prepare for Pascha? Why not join your fellow sojourners on the journey to the Resurrection of our Saviour and take part in one of the regional Lenten Retreats sponsored by the National ACRY?
Over the past several years these Lenten retreats which are offered in the Eastern, Western and Central regions of the diocese have been growing in popularity and attendance. These retreats have offered our faithful, thought provoking and uplifting presentations on timely topics, and an opportunity to share their struggles and experiences with each other. It has also provide our youth an opportunity to spend time with their friends from Camp and throughout the diocese, in a spiritually nurturing environment.
The topics this year range from Orthodoxy and Healing, Mapping the Soul With The Psalms and Overcoming Anger for the adults to Miracles: Real or Imagined, The Five Senses of Orthodoxy and Making Friends in Christ, for the youth.
The deadline for registration for the Eastern and Central regions is March 17, 2012.
