His All Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew Offers Video Greeting To Diocese

NEW ORLEANS, LA / JOHNSTOWN, PA  --  At the direction of His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas, our Diocesan Apostolate for Information Technology and Communications in collaboration with the Internet Ministries Department of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America made it possible to exchange video greetings between His All-Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and the youth of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese. His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas, keenly aware of the  the communications technology at the disposal of our diocese, believed that such a gesture would express the love and respect of the faithful of our diocese and the interest in which His pastoral visit has generated especially amongst our youth.

Video greetings were extended to His All-Holiness by Metropolitan Nicholas, the Seminarians of Christ the Saviour Seminary, diocesan youth who attended a Camp Nazareth reunion in Danbury, CT and the the youth of St. Michael's Church in Binghamton, NY.

Knowing the extremely demanding schedule of His All-Holiness,  it was with great joy that the chancery was informed today,  that His All-Holiness wished to respond in kind, by sending His own video greeting!

The video greetings and the response of His All Holiness may be viewed on the special Patriarchal You Tube Channel by clicking here.     View it in higher quality on our diocesan website.

His Eminence, Metropolitan will be travelling tommorow afternoon to New York, where he will participate in meetings with His All-Holiness and the Bishops of  SCOBA,  Divine Services and other events connected with the Patriarchal visit to the U.S.A.
