Pilgrims From America Meet with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I
CONSTANTINOPLE - On Friday October 21, 2011, His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios of America, along with the Hierarchs of the Eparchial Synod of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, Archons and Very Rev. Protopresbyter Michael Rosco, the official representative of the diocese were received in a private audience with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the Patriarchal Offices at the Phanar.
His All-Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew bestowed his personal blessing upon Protopresbyter Michael Rosco, expressing his gratitude for his presence on behalf of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese.
Later that evening, a dinner was held in honor of His All-Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew by His Eminence, Archbishop Demtrios at the Four Season's Restaurant.
Liturgical celebrations took place on Saturday and Sunday at the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. George the Trophy-bearer.
