Diocesan Parish to Host OCF Lenten Retreat Saturday April 9, 2011

Morgantown, WV - A Lenten Retreat hosted by the West Virginia University Orthodox Christian Fellowship, will take place on Saturday April 9, 2011 at St. Mary's Orthodox Church in Morgantown, WV.

Fr. Deacon David Jacobs, the Administrative Director of Antiochian Village Camp & Conference Center, will speak on the topic The Human Need for a Hero.

The day will begin with the reading of the Daily Hours at 10:00 A.M. The day will include presentations in the morning and afternoon by Deacon David and a lenten luncheon. The day will end with the celebration of Great Vespers at 4:00 pm.

The Retreat is free of Charge, however a free will offering will be taken to offset the travel expense of the presenter.
