Holy Cross Orthodox Mission
to Host Lenten Retreat

COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Holy Cross Orthodox Mission (2548 Billingsley Road, Columbus, OH 43235) is holding a Lenten Retreat on Saturday, March 31, 2012, beginning at 10 a.m. and concluding at 5:00 p.m.  The day will be led by the V. Rev. Protopresbyter Kenneth Bachofsky, DMin.  Fr. Ken is pastor of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Warren, OH and a faculty member at Christ the Saviour Seminary in Johnstown, PA. 

The theme of the day is “Praying in a Busy Life,” with a focus on images of prayer in the Old Testament Tradition and “Jesus Christ: Prayer as the Perfection of the Divine Image.”  In addition to two sessions, there will be an opportunity for Confession and the celebration of Vespers. (Remember to bring your Bible!) 

A $10.00 reservation fee includes a catered lunch and refreshments.  Reservations may be e-mailed to  HCRetreat@gmail.com or mailed to Holy Cross Orthodox Mission, P.O. Box 82109, Columbus, OH 43202, with checks made payable to “Holy Cross Orthodox Mission.”  The reservation deadline is Wednesday, March 21.
