JOHNSTOWN, PA -- The Chancery has been informed that ARCHON + EDWARD SEDOR passed to eternal life on Saturday Sept 3, 2011.
Viewing will take place on Friday Sept 9 at Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 393 Prospect Street, Binghamton, NY 13905, from 1-4 and 7-9 pm. The Parastas will take place at 7:30 pm. A Requiem Liturgy will be celebrated in St.Michael's Church, 296 Clinton Street Binghamton, NY 13905 on Saturday at 10:00 am. Commital will be at St. Michael's Parish Cemetary.
In addition to his service as Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, he served as Choir director of St. Michael's Church for 43 years. He was the brother of +Fr. Stephen Sedor and the father of +Fr. David Sedor.
