JOHNSTOWN, PA -- The Diocesan Chancery has been informed that Reader Douglas Laney of St. John the Baptist Parish, East Pittsburgh, PA fell-asleep-in-the-Lord on Thursday Oct 6, 2011.
Calling Hours will be at the Patrick Lanigan Funeral Home at 1111 Monroeville Avenue in Turtle Creek, PA 15145 on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be sung in the funeral home on Sunday at 6 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. John's Church on Monday at 9:30 AM.
May Almighty God Rest the Soul of His Newly Departed Servant, the Reader Douglas in the Mansions of the Just, Where There is no Pain, Sorrow or Mourning, But Life Everlasting. May His Memory be Eternal!
