Diocesan Deacon Program Commission Meets

JOHNSTOWN, PA -- The newly formed Diocesan Deaconate Program Commission held its first meeting today at the Diocesan Chancery in Johnstown, PA.
Present for the meeting in addition to His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas and Diocesan Chancellor, the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Frank P. Miloro were commission members, the Very Rev. Frs. Robert Buczak, Edward Pehanich and Robert Prepelka and Proto-deacon John Youhas.
The newly comprised Deaconate Commission has been tasked with refining and improving the present deaconate program and encouraging vocations to the deaconate.
The meeting of the Deaconate Commission is but one of several meetings of diocesan apostolates and ministries in recent weeks called to further the growth and vitality of the diocese.
