2012 Diocesan Altarboy Retreat
JOHNSTOWN, PA - Plans are underway for the Annual Altarboy's Retreat which will take place from July 1-4, 2011 at Christ the Saviour Seminary and Cathedral and SS. Peter & Paul Church facilities in Windber. This is the time and place for your faithful Altar Servers to join other Altar Boys from all over our Diocese. The young men will have the opportunity to enjoy each other's company; study their faith; learn how to be better Altar Boys; pray a little more; spend some quality time with some of our dedicated Priests and Deacons; and enjoy the activities planned for them.
All parishes of the diocese are urged to underwrite the $85.00 participation fee for their altarservers, recognizing that the altarboy of today may very well be the priest of tommorow!
All parish priests are kindly asked to send the completed registration forms for each of their altarboys attending by June 18, 2012 - with a check payable to the Altarboy Retreat in the amount of $85.00 per participant to:
