2012 Diocesan Lenten Retreats

JOHNSTOWN, PA  - The Diocesan Chancery is pleased to announce the schedule of  the annual  Diocesan Lenten Retreats, which are sponsored by the ACRY for the upcoming Lenten Season.  Download Informational Flier (PDF Format)

Central Region:  Saturday March 24, 2012 at  St. Nicholas Church, Homestead, PA from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The Adult Retreat Master, Very Rev.  Jonathan Tobias, will speak on the topic Mountains, Oceans, Deserts and Green Pastures: Mapping your Soul in the Psalms and Rev. Fr. Matthew Stagon the  youth presenter will lead an interactive discussion on the theme The Five Senses of Orthodoxy.  Registration is required and must be made by March 17, 2012. Eastern Region:  Saturday March 31, 2012 at the National Christian Conference Center (Valley Forge, PA) from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (EST).  Very Rev. Fr. John Brancho will lead the adults in a discussion of the topic: Overcoming Anger;  Deacon Richard Phifer, the Teen Presenter will discuss the topic Miracles: Real or Imagined.  Rev. Fr. Peter Zarynow will serve as retreat master for children ages 6-11 and will speak on the topic: Making Friends in Christ.
