Diocesan Clergy and Faithful Participate in March For Life

WASHINGTON, DC– Diocesan Clergy and faithful from the Johnstown, Pittsburgh, Washington,DC and Florida Deaneries traveled to Washington, DC to participate in the 38th Annual March For Life which marks the anniversary of the Roe V. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.

The march was preceded by a rally on the National Mall at Noon. Following the rally diocesan clergy and faithful marched with fellow Orthodox Christians under the Orthodox Christian For Life Banner to the Supreme Court, where a Panachida was served for all the holy innocents who were victims of the sin of abortion.

Despite the overcast and damp weather, more than one hundred thousand Pro-Life Americans from throughout the nation participated in this year's March For Life.
