2011 Diocesan Lenten Retreats

JOHNSTOWN, PA  - The Diocesan Chancery is pleased to announce the schedule of  the annual  Diocesan Lenten Retreats, which are sponsored by the ACRY for the upcoming Lenten Season.  Download Informational Flier

Central Region:  Saturday March 19, 2011 at  St. Nicholas Church, Homestead, PA from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The Adult Retreat Master, Very Rev.  Jonathan Tobias, will speak on the topic Transfigured into A New Way of Life and Rev. Fr. Matthew Stagon the  youth presenter will lead an interactive discussion on the theme "The Icon of You"  Registration is required and must be made by March 5, 2011. Eastern Region:  Saturday March 26, 2011 at the National Christian Conference Center (Valley Forge, PA) from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (EST).  Very Rev. Protopresbyter Peter Paproski and Deacon Stephen Hall, will lead the adults in a discussion of the topic: Transfigured into A New Way of Life; Rev. Fr. Jeff Zias, the Teen Presenter will discuss the topic Living in the Light of Christ: The Battle Against Teenage Temptations. Protodeacon Gregory Benc will serve as retreat master for children ages 6-11 and will speak on the topic: Christ; The Light in My Life.
