Christ the Savior Seminary To Host Annual Readers & Deacons Retreat

JOHNSTOWN, PA - The Annual Retreat for Diocesan deacons,
sub-deacons and readers will take place the weekend of December 13th-15th at
Christ the Saviour Seminary and Cathedral in Johnstown. Father Peter Paproski,
Pastor of St john the Baptist Church in Stratford, CT (Broadbridge Avenue) will
serve as Retreatmaster and Father David Moriak, Pastor of St. Michael's Church
in St. Clair, PA will be the Father Confessor for the retreatants. The topic
for the retreat will be The Sanctification of Time.
On Saturday December 14th , during Divine Liturgy, Sub-deacon Robert Hubiak
of Holy Trinity Church, Danbury, CT. will be ordained to the Dioaconate, Michael
Ellis and RIchard Howrilka will be tonsured Readers and made Sub-deacons and
Reader Matthew Moriak will be made a Sub-deacon by His Eminence, Metropolitan
Nicholas.
The weekend will conclude with the celebration of the Hierarchical Divine
Liturgy on Sunday morning with the responses being sung by the Church Choir of
St. John's Church, PerthAmboy, NJ. Following Liturgy. The Annual St. Nicholas
Dinner for the benefit of Christ The Savior Seminary will take in the Cathedral
Education Center.
