While in Constantinople Fr. Nectarios will lead a team of media writers who will report on this historic meeting. He will be accompanied by Pani Diane Trevino.

Joshua Trevino, Father Nectarios' eldest son, assembled the joint Orthodox-Catholic team to travel to Constantinople with the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas and at the invitation of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

Participants will further seek opportunities to publicize the Patriarchate, Orthodoxy in America in general, and in other media outlets. Secured media outlets include Touchstone magazine, Inside the Vatican magazine, and Human Events magazine; possible media outlets include BeliefNet, the Dallas Morning News, and First Things.

The participants are also developing a follow-up Orthodox-Catholic conference to be held in the United States, which will result in further positive media exposure.

The media team will include: Dr. John W. Birkenmeier (Ph.D., The Catholic University of America) a Byzantine historian; Rowena M. Itchon is Vice President for Marketing at the Pacific Research Institute and a former senior editor at Regnery where she edited five New York Times bestselling books; Dr. Robert Moynihan (Ph.D., 1988, Medieval Studies, Yale University) is the founder and editor of Inside the Vatican, a monthly magazine on Vatican affairs with a worldwide circulation; Daniel P. The delegation will be traveling from November 25 - December 6. His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas requests that all diocesan faithful pray for the success of the deliberations during the historic meeting of Pope Benedict and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and for the safe travel of Fr.
