Wonderworking Icon Of St. Anna To Be At Youth Pilgrimage

JOHNSTOWN, PA - His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas has
announced today, that the Wonderworking Icon of St. Anna, the Mother of the
Theotokos, will be present for veneration during the The Second Annual
All-Diocese Youth Pilgrimage that is being held on August 17-19, 2007 (Friday
evening through Sunday afternoon) at Camp Nazareth in Mercer, Pennsylvania.
Father Athanasy (Mastalski), the pastor of The Russian Orthodox Church of our Lady,
the Joy of All Who Sorrow, of Philadelphia, PA, has graciously agreed to
bring this wonderworking icon, that has shed tears of myrrh since November of
2004, to Camp Nazareth for veneration by our youth and diocesan faithful. The
wonderworking icon will be available for veneration in the Saints Cyril and
Methodios Church from the 5:00 pm Friday August 17th Daily Vespers Service,
through early afternoon of Saturday, August 18th. It has been reported that
miracles have occured in the lives of many who have fervently prayed before this
icon and have been annointed with its tears.

All Diocesan youth are urged to participate in this once in a lifetime
pilgrimage, and venerate this wonderworking icon. The Registration deadline has
been extended to Wednesday, August 8, 2007 All diocesan faithful and others who
wish to venerate this icon are cordially invited to attend the Daily Vespers
Service at 5:00 pm on Friday August 17th and Divine Liturgy at 9:00 am on
Saturday August 18th. Following each service, the faithful will be annointed
with the myrrh that has been shed from this icon.
