JOHNSTOWN, PA - The Chancery been advised that +
SAMUEL SHERRY, SR, the Father of the Very Rev. Sam Sherry, fell
asleep in the today, February 22. The funeral arrangements are as follows:
Viewing is at the Snyder Funeral Home, at the
corner of Bell and East Church Streets, in Ligonier, PA,
from 7-9 PM on Monday Feb 25, 2008. Panachida will be served at 7 PM Monday.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday
Feb 26 at 10 AM in Saint John the Baptist
Church, Wilpen, PA.
Those clergy who will be participating are asked to wear white vestments.
Diocesan faithful who are able are encouraged to attend the funeral service
and to remember + Samuel in their prayers. Clergy are asked to remember him at
the Sunday Feb 24, 2008 Divine Liturgy.
