Scranton, PA . The Very Rev. Protopresbyter John I. Dolhy, pastor emeritous of St. Nicholas Parish in Scranton, PA, fell-asleep-in-the-Lord on Sunday November 19, 2006.
Father John will lie-in-state in St. Nicholas Church of Scranton on Friday, November 24. The Burial Service for Priests will be sung on Friday evening at 6 PM. The funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Nicholas Church on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Clergy should wear white epitrachil.
Classmates of Father John, Consistory priests and clergy of the Pocono Deanery will con-celebrate the Liturgy with His Eminence. They should be prepared to fully vest in white.
May Almighty God Rest the Soul of His Newly Departed Servant, The Ever-memorable Protopresbyter John in the Mansions of the Just, Where There is no Pain, Sorrow or Mourning, But Life Everlasting. May His Memory be Eternal, Vichnaja Jemu Pamjat!
