Cathedral Seniors Visit House of Miracles and Flight 93 Memorial
On Thursday June 21, 2012 the Cathedral Seniors Group sponsored a trip to the House of Miracles, located in Berlin, PA.
The House of Miracles is an Orthodox Christian Bookstore, Cafe, and the Coffee Bean Roastery. It is located in an historical log house, circa 1783. It is owned by Orthodox Christians, Carol and Roger Clarke. Roger is a student in our Diocesan Diaconate Formation Program.
Following a lunch, and a visit to the bookstore, several members of the group traveled to the Flight 93 911 Memorial located nearby.
The Group enjoyed a delicious luncheon at the House of Miracles.
After lunch some members of the group continued on to the nearby Flight 93
Memorial . They are standing in front of the wall that bears the name of each
person on Flight 93.
This boulder is a marker of the exact spot where Flight 93 crashed on September 11, 2001.
