At Saint Nicholas Church, Lansford, PA, after the 6th Gospel on Holy Thursday evening, the tower bells remain silent until the first proclamation of "Christ is Risen" at the Resurrection Matins. The "klapatch" is used to call the faithful to attention at the beginning of the services and during the solemn Burial Procession of our Lord. This unique piece has been in continuous use since the 1940's and was hand-crafted by the late Peter Daderko Sr.
