Funeral of Metropolitan Nicholas: Thurs March 17, 2011
Today, various Orthodox Hierarchs paid their respects to Metropolitan Nicholas, offering prayers and words of condolence. The day ending with the celebration of the Parastas service in a packed Church, with the Plain Chant hymns of the church being sung with great fervor.
The Hierarchs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA offered a Panachida for the repose of the soul of Metropolitan Nicholas Thursday afternoon.

Archbishop Anthony offered heartfelt condolences on behalf of the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA
Metropolitan Herman of the Orthodox Church in America paid his respects to Metropolitan Nicholas and offered a Panachida. The nuns of Holy Transfiguration Monastery sang the responses.

Cathedral Dean and Diocesan Chancellor Frank P. Miloro offered a moving eulogy.
On Saturday Afternoon a Presentation Was Given On The Recent Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land
