First Day of Great Lent 2011 at the Cathedral
Monday March 7th, 2011 the first day of Lent was marked by the celebration of the Moleben to the Most Holy Mother of God.

Very Rev. Protopresbyter Frank P. Miloro, Pastor and Fr. John Brancho led the faithful of Christ the Saviour Cathedral in the celebration of the Moleben to the Most-Holy Mother of God.
Protodeacon Oleg Aminov is flanked by altarboys Jonah and Symeon reads the gospel.
Very Rev. Fr. John Brancho gave a moving sermon on the first of the Lord's last seven words.
The faithful in the candlelit cathedral led by Cathedral Dean, Fr. Frank Miloro sing from the depths of their heart the beloved Lenten Anthem, "Having Suffered the Passion for Us." at the conclusion of the service.
