Ground Breaking Ceremonies for Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Danbury, CT

The site of the new Holy Trinity Church in Danbury, Connecticut. A Carpathian-style wooden church is to be erected on this beautiful wooded site.
His Eminence stops to bless a child enroute to the ground breaking ceremony.
His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas is led in procession by the New England Deanery Clergy from the parish rectory to the new church site.
Clergy gather at the site of the cross planted where the sanctuary of the new church will be.
Metropolitan Nicholas plants the first stone in the foundation of the new church, blessing it with holy water and specially blessed olive oil.
Lord it is good for us to be here! His Eminence addresses the parish faithful and guests who were present for the ground breaking ceremonies.
