HISTORIC VISIT OF
POPE BENEDICT XVI
TO THE ECUMENICAL PATRIARCHATE
OF CONSTANTINOPLE

Two historic services during the upcoming visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, November 29 and 30, 2006 will appear LIVE and will also be archived on the Internet at http://www.patriarchate.org. The schedule is as follows:
Nov 29 - 12 Noon* (EST). The Doxology of Thanksgiving upon the occasion of the arrival of Pope Benedict XVI to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the exchange of greetings and the mutual reverence of the Holy Relics.
Nov 30 - 1:00 am (EST) The Divine Liturgy in honor of the Feast of St. Andrew the Apostle

EWTN Global Catholic Network, has announced that it will broadcast LIVE worldwide from the Ecumenical Patriarchate
Nov. 29 - 12:00 noon (EST), EWTN will broadcast LIVE from the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. George, the Doxology of Thanksgiving, exchange of greetings and mutual reverence of the Holy Relics upon the occasion of the arrival of Pope Benedict XVI to the Ecumenical Patriarchate. The program will repeat at 11:30 PM (EST).
Nov. 30 - 2:00 AM (EST) EWTN will broadcast the Divine Liturgy LIVE, also from the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. George. The program will be rebroadcast at 2:00 PM (EST). Both programs are being produced by the Ecumenical Patriarchate. *times subject to change
Nov 30, at 10:00 AM (EST) EWTN will also broadcast LIVE the visit of Pope Benedict to Hagia Sophia. The program will repeat at 10:00 pm (EST)
Dec 1 - 1:30 AM (EST) EWTN will broadcast the Holy Mass at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in attendance. The program will repeat at 11:00 AM (EST)
Dec 1 - 5:30 am (EST) EWTN will broadcast live the Departure of Pope Benedict XVI from Ataturk Airport in Istanbul. The program will repeat at 1:10 PM (EST)
