The formative planning retreat for the new Diocesan Apostolate for Youth took place on November 7-8, 2005 at Camp Nazareth. The purpose of the retreat was to begin the planning process for a comprehensive youth ministry initiative in the diocese to support the youth of the diocese and their families. The members of the newly formed Diocesan Youth Apostolate commission who were in attendance included, The Very Rev. Jonathan Tobias, director, the Rev. Father Andrew Fetchina, Secretary, The Very Rev. Protopresbyter Stephen Dutko, Historian, the Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko, Assistant Historian, The Very Rev. Protopresbyter Kenneth Bachofsky, The Very Rev. Mark Leisure, Very Rev. Peter Paproski, Very Rev. Sam Sherry, Very Rev. Miles Zdinak, The Rev. Fr. Michael Ellis, Rev. Fr. Michael Chendorain and The Rev. Father Matthew Morriak.  Also present was The Very Rev. Lawrence Barriger.
