Columbus Mission

About The Mission

Established on March 7, 2010, by His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas, the Orthodox Mission Community of the Holy Cross, is currently home to 35 souls. The first Divine Liturgy was served on March 7 by the Very Reverend Protopresbyter Paul Herbert. On Bright Monday, April 5, 2010, Fr. Kevin Greenwood became the mission's first administrator. The Divine Liturgy is served each Sunday at 9:30 a.m., with Confessions each Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Vespers at 5:30 p.m. We are looking forward to offering a regular series of education programs for the adults and youth of our community, as well as inquiry and instruction for converts.

Mission Needs

We are grateful to our brothers and sisters throughout the diocese for your support, both spiritually and materially. May God bless you for your assistance in helping us build up the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church in central Ohio!  However, we still do have some needs:

  2. Hanging Vigil Lamps for Icons
  3. Altar Fans
  4. Iconostasis
