At the 18th Diocesan Sobor held in Johnstown, PA on July 9-12, 2000, the assembled delegates enthusiastically endorsed plans to build a Carpathian-style wooden Church at our diocesan Camp Nazareth. It is anticipated that construction will be completed by the 25th anniversary of Camp Nazareth in 2002. Preliminary estimates indicate a total cost of approximately $600,000. To date over $200,000 has been raised in donations and pledges.
